Retro 1940's Diamond Ladies Covered Wristwatch 14K
This beautiful bracelet watch has a unique and highly coveted watch band in hexagon shaped. VCA used to use this type of band and it is still valued today. The watch has a unique open and close mechanism and the cover of the watch face is studded with tiny stars and Diamonds inserted into these stars. These tiny stars with Diamonds or other stones piercing these stars was a typical design element in the 1940's - early 1950's. Beautiful and usable and looks just like a bracelet.
There are 24 Diamond "stars" each diamond .05 each and take a look at the weight of this piece, remarkable.
