This gorgeous Antique Micro Mosaic Plaque is absolutely gorgeous. The piece is in perfect condition and it is filled with roses and floral details. There are no pieces lost and it is quite large in size for a Mosaic piece. I had this mounted on a 18K yellow gold mount and the chain is of 18" in 18K Yellow Gold. The plaque measures 1 3/4" x 1 1/4" and it weighs 28.6 grams. These Mosaic pieces started in Italy as micro mosaic pieces were done by very talented artisans, the same artisans that carved Cameos which is a skill that very few can complete today as these artisans never passed done their trade and few are left. This piece is very large for a Micro Mosaic piece.
