This lovely small brooch represents the "spider and the fly" in Aquamarine with seed Pearl head. The spider and the fly are common themes in Victorian jewelry as is the snake in all its forms. The Fly has an Aquamarine body and seed Pearl. The Spider also has a body of Aquamarine.
The brooch is 5 mm long, Fly is 1.5cm Spider is 1 cm both stones equal .40 carats. Perfect condition plus the spider has a clasp behind it so if you do not like the spider dangling it also can be fastened to stay put. This is unusual because I have owned many "spider and the fly" brooches but never have I seen one that lets you keep the fly secure from moving.
