Antique Micro Mosaic Drop Earrings 1880’s

These antique Micro mosaic drop earrings were produced in the late 1800's. During this time the rage was going overseas on what was called the World Tour. Across Europe many items were made for the tourist market. These are one of those items as it is made from base metal. I usually do not buy items in base metal or 9k but sometimes the item is just gorgeous and I can't help it. These are so collectable and they are beautiful. The top features doves with a laurel leaf, it also has checkerboard and 8 stars surround these doves. Then the balance dangle with 3 micro mosaic elements 2 are the same length, on the center drop is longer. It weighs in at 10.8 grams 5.5cm long 2 cm wide and comes in its original box.
